Omega is the product of Asap Technologies, which is a consumer electronics startup based in Sydney. The founder of the company and the team lead is Vinson Lee Leow with 10+ years of experience in startups, event marketing and crowdfunding. He is also the founder of Zaia distribution, which is a big reseller of lifestyle brands in Oceania and co-founder of Crypto Round Table which is an exclusive community of inclusive, positive, and innovative individuals. Omega’s team consists of serial entrepreneurs, creatives and engineers who’ve worked together since 2015. So, already a big and successful company with its experienced team lead. They say their mission is to create highly innovative phone accessories that simplify the way you interact with your mobile devices. Hope they will make their customers happy with new innovative products.
Experience
Have they developed something like this before? Do they have crowdfunding experience? Manufacturing experience? A lot of campaigns fail to deliver their product because they don’t know what they’re doing. Or they might spend all the raised funds on getting a fully functional product, but fail to mass-produce it.
Seems like we have experienced crowdfunding campaigners here. They’ve had 8 campaigns including “Flash: World’s Most Powerful 210W USB-C Powerbank” and “Infinity Cable: ONE Cable for all your devices”, which were surely successful. Flash raised 1,508,842 USD and the shipping process has already started as promised. Infinity Cable raised 487,696 USD. However, judging from the comments there were some problems with shipping and orders as a lot of people are complaining that they haven’t received their products or there is something wrong in orders. 
Despite of this, we notice that they’re openly communicating with their backers, which is contributing to their transparency score but leaving a little space here at the Experience score. The new Omega campaign is definitely more successful raising 657,151 USD in 15 days and they still have more than 40 days to go. Can you guess the final amount? 1mln, 2mln…. may be 3mln?
Transparency
How transparent are the campaigners? Do they give their backers valuable updates on their progress? Having credible and reliable campaigners is one of the deciding factors in building the trust that backers look for.
Well, they have 18 updates for each above-mentioned campaign, and 5-6 of them are regarding shipping. I guess backers are also interested in the shipping process and they did a great job on this. From the point of transparency, they seem pretty open to their backers’ community as discussed and seen earlier in the review.

How responsive are the campaigners? Do they engage with their backers? Crowdfunding is all about community, sharing information and building a meaningful relationship with the people who fund your project.
