I wish this launched before Christmas 2020 so my family and I could actually have fun in the isolated holidays.
Jokes aside, this product looks great – but the reviews of the shipping could seem troubling. Let’s assess it from our 4 criteria and see how well it scores:
The Product
Innovation
Is this a truly new product that you can’t find on the market? Or this a product that defines an entirely new product category. In some cases, the combination of several features into one or the introduction of a new feature to an old product are also considered to be an innovation.
The Bebird N3 Pro is a small step for a human and a small-to-medium step for mankind in terms of innovation. The 10 million pixel camera is definitely better hardware than any other ear cleaner with a camera but I fail to believe that seeing my ear in 4k rather than HD will improve my experience. On the other hand, the new silica gel ear wax tweezers seem way easier to use than the previous tool. It also seems safer and that’s a big plus for me.
Competitiveness
How much better is it than the competition? Is it faster? Bigger? Cooler? More affordable? There needs to be a solid reason why you should back this project over any other.

No other brand has ear wax tweezers – which really sets out the Bebird N3 Pro. The price is relatively high, but its important to mention that it is a 2-in-1 ear wax removal tool that both has ear wax tweezers and a standard tool. Though it’s price is higher than average in its category, with its multi-use functionality, a great design and smooth silica gel tips, I believe its an ear cleaner tool worth the money for a lot of people.

Reliability
How capable is the team? Have they developed something like this before? Do they have crowdfunding experience? Manufacturing experience? A lot of campaigns fail to deliver their product because they don’t know what they’re doing.
Bebird blew us away with their previous $750.000+ campaign some years back and judging from their Amazon page and website they’ve successfully launched over 6 Bebird ear wax removal tools that have great reviews.
However, for some reason, many people have not received their Bebird from the previous campaign. We did our own research and found that when Bebird organised the shipping themselves with their campaign partner Longham Tec – there were many issues, but when they sold the products through Amazon, Amazon did a great job of shipping the Bebird.
As crowdfunding backers, we know there is always a risk related to the product. It’s up to you to decide if you want to purchase it later – like all the others – or follow the crowdfunding spirit and take the risk.
Attitude
How transparent are the campaigners? Do they give their backers valuable updates on their progress? Do they engage with their backers? Crowdfunding is all about community, sharing information, and building a meaningful relationship with the people who fund your project.
They respond to comments usually within one day which is quite impressive but have been accused of some peculiar comments. When asked about the safety of the product, Bebird responds a little weird:

Conclusion & Public Opinion
The Bebird N3 Pro is a strong upgrade from their previous versions and is the first product ever to have silica ear wax removal tweezers with a camera. We are very excited to see if the product reviews are as glowingly positive as the previous ear wax removal tools they have on Amazon. We hope they have utilised the extensive feedback received from users in their new product.
On the backside, both Bebird and their campaign partner Longham Tec have reputations of messing up shipping quite hard in their Indiegogo campaigns so you should be patient. However, we expect you will be extremely happy with their smart ear cleaner (as soon as you receive it).
