Last week we looked at your own personal butler, Alfred.

But the game has just been upped, with your own pet cat—the MarsCat.

Much like its breathing feline counterpart, MarsCat can feel your touch, hear your voice, see your face and play with toys.

It can even dig in its litterbox—but don’t worry, you won’t have to pick up any poops.

The open-sourced platform is great for teaching young ones (and yourself!) programming and robotics, as it’s easy to take apart and recode.

And according to how you treat your robotic pet, its personality develops and adapts. 

No two MarsCats are the same.

I wonder if we’ll have MarsCat competitions… mine will win for sure!
